Grace Chapel organizes six grass-roots ministries to address the unique needs of vulnerable populations, including human trafficking victims and women newly-released from prison. To support refugees in their transition to American life, the Grace Chapel offers several programs under its umbrella initiative, Refugee Education, Advocacy, Connection, and Hospitality (REACH).
Through REACH, the grass-roots ministry connects refugees to community resources across the state. REACH assists refugees in need of practical and medical support by referring individuals and families to local programs. Additionally, refugees can register for English language classes and civics courses that will help them meet citizenship requirements. The initiative also educates the congregation and the general public on the current refugee crisis and how to support newcomers.
