Learn Product Ownership with Scrum’s PSPO Course

A former product owner and lead business systems analyst at Epsilon, Anthony Freddura joined Bluebird Bio as a senior business systems analyst in the spring of 2018. To support his work in the industry, Anthony Freddura has completed certifications such as professional scrum product owner (PSPO) through Scrum.org.

Cofounded by Ken Schwaber, Scrum.org achieved international reach in 2009. It supplies comprehensive training services in the field of software delivery to professionals across the globe. The organization’s training courses include the PSPO certification, which focuses on practical understanding of value derivation for software systems and products.

In its two-day course, Scrum incorporates team-building exercises and traditional instruction to teach participants to use the organization’s product development framework. Students broaden their understanding of product ownership, learning how to use metrics and the Agile approach to more effectively distribute products.

Following completion of the course, participants can attempt the globally-recognized PSPO I assessment to earn certification. Those who score below 85 percent will receive a free second attempt on the assessment. All students can also obtain a discount on the PSPO II assessment.
