An experienced business systems analyst, Anthony Freddura manages the systems analysis operations for multiple strategic initiatives at MultiPlan, Inc., in Waltham, Massachusetts. In addition to his professional activities, Anthony Freddura supports World Vision, a Christian humanitarian organization that assists children and families in nearly 100 countries around the globe.

Recently, World Vision worked in Tacloban in the Philippines to help some of the more than 100,000 people who fled their homes before a major tropical storm started making its way through city on December 6, 2014. As the storm known as Typhoon Hagupit swept through the Philippines, it damaged houses, electricity lines, and roads across the country while causing the deaths of at least 21 people.

Focused on immediate needs, World Vision distributed water and hygiene kits containing essential items, such as soap, toothbrushes, underwear, and shawls. As part of a multi-week assistance initiative, the organization committed enough resources to help 55,000 affected residents.
