Software professionals can receive training as a Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) through a two-day course designed to equip professionals with the fundamental knowledge for practical application. The course combines instruction with team-based exercises to enhance students’ understanding of the Scrum framework and how it can improve efforts for product development.

Using an Agile perspective, instructors review the Product Owner’s responsibility to deliver a successful product to the marketplace and identify metrics to track value creation. Students also are exposed to real-life cases, engage in discussion, and participate in hands-on exercises throughout the course.

In addition, participants who complete the course may take the PSPO I assessment in order to receive certification by Scrum. Students may take the exam at no cost and will be granted a second attempt to pass if they take the PSPO I assessment within 14 days of the course. Furthermore, PSPO course students can take the PSPO II assessment at a discounted rate.
